Regional Business Development Manager

With more than 1,000 retail outlets across Canada in the Appliance, Consumer Electronics, Furniture, Bedding, Photography, Floor Covering, Home Décor, Outdoor Cooking and Power categories, The Clients members produce an estimated $2.5 billion in annual retail sales. Together with their parent company, they are the largest buying and marketing group of its kind in North America. They provide members with stronger buying power and an extensive array of advertising, online marketing, educational, financial programs and services designed around current retail trends.

Your New Role

The Regional Business Development Manager’s role is to:

  1. Analyze the assigned territory and implement appropriate development plans and strategies to increase the number of retail members at the organization (60%).
  2. Support organic growth by encouraging current members to benefit from our full range of service offerings and incite conversion into our banners or networks.
  3. Nurture the existing relationships with members.
  4. Anticipate and meet the needs of our members to help them grow their business.

What You Need to Succeed

We are looking for a hunter passionate about outside sales with a proven track record of success. You need to have proven experience in generating leads and closing new accounts as well as knowledge of and interest in digital marketing. You also need a Bachelor’s degree in business/ marketing, coupled with 3 years of related work experience in an outside sales role in one of our industries. You need to be able to travel, with your own car and valid drivers license, in the assigned region (approximately 3-4 days a week).
