Our client is a North American leader in the consumer goods space and they have asked Paul Huffman of TalentHunt to assist them in their search for a Brand & Digital / eCommerce Manager based out of Toronto.


This role will be reporting directly to Director of Sales and Marketing and is focused on these three things:

  • Brand
  • Digital
  • eCommerce

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop and execute 5-year strategic strategic brand marketing plans including eCommerce marketing communication strategy
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams in the development, communication and implementation of the strategic vision and goals
  • Provide digital thought leadership and consultation to cross-functional teams
  • Develop and manage eCommerce retailers including the coordination and execution of customer plans, promotions and development activities
  • Champions the exploration of online direct selling opportunities for both B2C & B2B
  • Establish eCommerce marketing activity KPIs and for monthly reporting and data analysis
  • Assist sales team in creation and development of national promotions for assigned brands to achieve sales goals
  • Contributes to the product development process through active scrutiny of product reviews by providing market insights, sales performance, and customer trends
  • Lead eCommerce team to ensure brand strategy, assets and content are adhered to and implemented within brand scope and guidelines
  • Lead positive image for brand staying on strategy and ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to
  • Lead product/package/process, renovation, pre-launch/launch strategy, planning process and in market execution process of new or renovated products

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must Have: 5+ years of similar experience of in consumer goods or related space
  • Demonstrated experience working with Amazon Marketing Services, online marketplaces, eCommerce, Mobile and SEM programs
  • Proficient knowledge of eCommerce web development, user experience, functionality, protocol and SEO
  • Leadership skills, assertiveness to champion eCommerce within the broader organization and ability to lead multifunctional team without direct reporting lines
  • Ability to use educated and intuitive judgement to make decisions on a daily basis at own discretion
  • Analytical skills and proficiency in learning new metrics and systems for E-commerce
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starter with utmost sense of ownership and urgency for the eCommerce future of the brand
  • Bachelor’s degree marketing, business or related field
